Managed updates

Not “press update and hope”. Backup first, update, test, roll back instantly if something conflicts. This is where most broken sites are born.

Off-site backups

Daily, stored away from your server with restore history. A backup on the same server is a spare key locked in the car.

Security monitoring

Firewall, malware scanning, login protection and uptime checks. We find out before your customers do.

Performance

Caching, database hygiene, Core Web Vitals monitoring. Sites slow down gradually — we keep that from happening quietly.

What neglect actually costs

Almost every hacked site we’re asked to rescue came in through one of three doors: an outdated plugin with a known vulnerability, a weak or reused password, or a forgotten administrator account. All three are prevented by routine, not by expensive tools.

The arithmetic is unkind: cleaning up after a breach costs several times a year of maintenance — and that’s only the invoice. The reputational damage when Google flags your domain as unsafe takes longer to repair.

What if the site gets hacked anyway?

On our higher plans, clean-up is included and prioritised. But the point of the service is that it shouldn’t get there — and in the rare case it does, we have clean backups from before the breach.

Do we have to have been built by you?

No. We take over sites built by anyone. The first step is an audit so we know what we’re inheriting, and so you know it too.

Is there a contract?

Month to month. No minimum term and no exit fee. If we’re not earning it, you should be able to leave.

Does it include content changes?

Small edits are included on most plans. Larger work — new pages, redesigns, new functionality — is quoted separately so you’re never surprised by an invoice.
